Chelsey Rosher
Registered Clinical Social Worker
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey toward reclaiming your sense of self and finding balance. As a Registered Clinical Social Worker, I provide a grounded, trauma-informed space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion. My practice is built on a foundation of clinical expertise and a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit. Every individual’s path to wellness is unique. I use an integrative approach, drawing on several evidence-based modalities, to tailor our work to your goals.
My therapeutic approaches include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) A powerful, evidence-based tool for processing traumatic memories and reducing their emotional charge, allowing for true resolution and relief, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): where we work together to identify and transform the emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck, fostering deeper self-awareness and connection to your needs. DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy): incorporates skills-based tools to help manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build mindfulness in everyday life. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): where we explore the intersection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to help shift unhelpful patterns and create lasting change.
I am a firm believer in the healing power of connection—both to ourselves and the world around us. When I am not in the clinic or community, I am often recharging in nature, travelling abroad or spending quality time with my beloved “fur babies.” Whether I’m out for a walk with my dogs or relaxing with my cat, these moments of grounding and joy are central to how I maintain my own wellness and presence as a therapist. I am honoured to support the Edmonton community through my work here at MP Psychology.
